Pakistani Chilgoza (Pinus gerardiana) is recognized internationally as the world's premium pine nut variety — superior in flavor, nutritional density, and shelf-life compared to Korean (Pinus koraiensis) or Mediterranean (Pinus pinea) pine nuts. Kohenoor International sources chilgoza directly from harvesters in the Suleiman Range (Balochistan), Chitral, and Skardu valleys, processing through state-of-the-art shelling and cleaning facilities.
Our chilgoza is hand-shelled to preserve kernel integrity, color-sorted via Sortex machinery, and packed in vacuum-sealed inner liners to maintain freshness.
